On April 23-26, a business mission of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry took place in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan). The delegation was headed by the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Vladimir Platonov, who presented Moscow's progressive experience in the field of technologies for the Smart City.
The delegation included representatives of progressive companies of the IT sector - “VisionLabs” (face and object recognition) and “Sidorin Lab” (reputation management in the network), as well as the enterprise-producer of high-tech equipment for urban environment - OJSC “Mogilevliftmash”.
During the program, the participants of the business mission met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Semyon Grigoriev, theTrade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Evgeny Korenkov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan. Mr. Nasimjon Anvarov.
The Moscow delegation was received by Mr. Safarali Abdurahmonzoda, the Deputy Chairman of the City of Dushanbe. During the program, participants of the business mission met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan Semyon Grigoriev, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan Evgeny Korenkov, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Nasimjon Anvarov.
The Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan. In addition, the entrepreneurs - participants of the business mission discussed opportunities for cooperation with representatives of MegaFon, Tajikistan and TechnoHub, Dushanbe.
In his conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Semyon Grigoriev, the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Platonov, expressed his readiness to share Moscow's successful experience in organizing a safe and comfortable urban environment with the relevant structures of Dushanbe in any convenient format: to provide marketing materials of companies, hold an online pitch session with Tajik partners, present the opportunities of Moscow business, organize another a business mission to the capital of Tajikistan, etc.
Mr. Evgeny Korenkov, the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan, noted that since its opening in 2006, the Trade Representation has been maintaining an ongoing dialog on trade and economic issues with all the authorities of Tajikistan. On a permanent basis, together with the Russian-Tajik Business Council and the Russian Export Center, active work is carried out on the development of foreign trade relations between the two countries, and Tajikistan has also set up an Export Support Group for the benefit of Russian producers. Mr. Korenkov expressed readiness to provide comprehensive assistance to representatives of domestic business in working with Tajik partners, using all available tools. The Trade Representative emphasized the interests of Tajik authorities in digitalization and development of the IT sector, and also outlined the opportunities for industrial cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan within the context of a large-scale investment project “Industrial Park in Tajikistan” (Dushanbe), planned for implementation by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
During the meetings, business representatives presented their solutions for Tajik partners. In particular, top managers of VisionLabs - Commercial Director Ilya Romanov and Head of Public Sector Business Pavel Sharavsky presented unique solutions in the field of facial and object recognition used worldwide for security systems, retail, banking, transportation and other industries. Mr. Dmitry Sidorin, the founder of Russia's first online reputation management agency Sidorin Lab, spoke about the importance of promptly responding to information in public sources and gave examples of tasks that can be solved using the company's tools, including monitoring and analyzing social media and mass media, correcting publicly available information and working with “digital” image of individuals, companies and countries. Mr. Anton Belsky, the Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of Mogilevliftmash OJSC, introduced the advanced technologies of elevator production, and also presented equipment for low mobility groups, construction industry and organization of comfortable urban environment.
The solutions presented during the business mission were received with interest, and agreements were reached to further explore the possibility of their implementation in the existing systems of the city of Dushanbe.
